Happy Independence Day to all!

Normally, for Thankful Thursday, I’d just post about three things I appreciate, but today, I’ll be doing four. The first one, and the most important one, is my country. Although our world is complicated and nothing is perfect, I feel thankful for being an American and I’m looking forward to celebrating our nation’s independence today with good friends and family. It’s a special gift – time with those you love – that no election and no political debate can ever overshadow. I’m thankful for the little freedoms I enjoy every day – so, just for today, let’s put aside the political nonsense and just celebrate our heritage as Americans and spend time with those we love. And watch fireworks.

I’m also thankful for:

Blooming Buddha Soap

Fanciful Fox soaps. I love them, but especially Blooming Buddha. I’m also really loving Itchy Legs bars (for ridding summertime leg shaving irritation) and their Clean Mug Face Soap. My skin looks and feels fantastic, plus, they’re 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and made right in Scranton. Please stop into their shop on Adams Ave (give them a like on Facebook, t0o!). You’ll fall in love like I did! <3 (P.S. Support small business always!)

Ology All Purpose Cleaner

Ology All Purpose Cleaner in Lemon & Lavender. This has become my new favorite kitchen cleaner. It smells fantastic and just leaves me feeling cheery.

You are what you eat.
You know what they say.

Fresh produce from Farmer Jon. Brent and I joined a CSA this summer and the produce has been spectacular. Lots of fresh greens, radishes, green onions, and last week, cherries!
